The firm started when the Founding partner ” Syed Ali Imran” Ali, started his entrepreneur journey and realized that he need expert knowledge to mitigate complexities in ever changing , knowledge driven world to run a successful organization. He also realized that long term business success depends on thriving economy and a society where wealth is distributed among its members. Thus, he conceived the idea of a social business enterprise engaged in entrepreneurship and providing consulting service to Al Ali Group Holdings and other members of the society and he named the firm as Al Ali Consulting which is reflective of his organization setup as an entrepreneur. Initially the firm focused on entrepreneurship and management consulting services as its primary practice areas.
The firm commenced its operation in the year 2016 with the primary objective to plan and setup Al Ali Group Holdings. In the first two years of operations Ali devised initial strategy for Al Ali Group Holdings and subsequently launched his first entrepreneurial venture by identifying a promising opportunity to set up a budget hotel and a fine dining restaurant in Lahore. He started this journey using his own funds and later decided to raise additional capital from investors.
Meanwhile, Ali also took on his first consulting client — a close friend — who needed a business plan. This was followed by other clients, including one aiming to launch a children’s TV channel and a retail distributor seeking to transition into manufacturing by bringing in a partner willing to invest capital based on a valuation. Ali conducted the valuation for the distributor, which led to the partner injecting capital into the business — marking the firm’s first successful project.
In the year 2019 entrepreneurship activities of the firm got suspended due to delay in availability of promised investor fund . In the meantime the firm continued its entrepreneur activities for Al Ali Group Holdings by identifying , generating business ideas and carrying out market research for the selected businesses including not for profit and social business segments.
At the same time, Ali gained firsthand valuable experience related to government operations and important societal matters. This period provided him with a deeper understanding of regulatory frameworks, public policy, and community engagement, which proved to be an important learning phase for the firm. These experiences not only broadened the firm’s strategic perspective but also enhanced its ability to navigate complex socio-economic environments and align its initiatives with national and regional development goals.
As part of our strategic expansion, Al Ali Consulting is introducing two new practice lines—Organization Leadership and Government and Public Policy—which are expected to have a significant impact on economic growth and development. These practice lines have been adopted following Ali’s firsthand experience in both areas, which provided him with deep insights and practical knowledge to drive meaningful outcomes.
The Organization Leadership practice will help businesses enhance their performance, build effective leadership structures, and achieve their strategic goals. Meanwhile, the Government and Public Policy practice will offer expert guidance on policy development, implementation, and regulatory compliance, supporting government and public sector organizations in improving operational efficiency. This will contribute to strengthening government functioning and building human-centered public policies. Achieving satisfactory outcomes in this area will also align the firm’s activities with its purpose of creating a positive social impact and promoting more equitable distribution of wealth in society.

The Founding Partner
Syed Ali Imran, known as Ali, is the founding partner of Al Ali Consulting (AAC). During his entrepreneurial journey, he recognized the critical need for expert knowledge and strategic insight to guide organizations toward long-term success in an increasingly complex global landscape. Ali believes that the prosperity of businesses is deeply connected to the economic health of society and the policies shaped by governments. With this vision, he founded AAC to promote global business activities and enhance governmental functions to improve people’s quality of life. At the core of his philosophy is the belief that business should serve the greater good and contribute to societal well-being, not just maximize profit.
Ali holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Karachi University and has successfully completed all examinations of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. He also possesses an associate degree in Information Technology. Despite his remarkable leadership and expertise in business and management, Ali is committed to lifelong learning and is currently planning to pursue further formal education in business and finance to develop more effective and sustainable frameworks for the sector.
In his free time, Ali enjoys practicing yoga and meditation, listening to music, and participating in sports.

Kausar is the Co Founder of Kausar and Ali she conceived the idea of a fast fashion company which provides quality fashion products at affordable prices.She works extensively at the ideation stage of the business by carried out extensive market research in Pakistan and Canada. Kausar holds bachelor degree in commerce and based in Toronto Canada and looks after firm's administration affairs pertaining to Canadian operations.
Jane Acquah a results-driven statistician with expertise in data analysis, strategic planning, and organizational development. Through her work, she has gained extensive experience in research, policy, and business support.Passionate about innovation and impact, Jane partners with businesses and institutions to design solutions that foster growth, efficiency, and sustainability to create positive social impact. She holds Masters degree in International Relations and based in Ghana where she oversees the firm's affairs.
Nguyễn Phúc is a Coordinator of a firm initiative dedicated to promoting mental health through the School of Meditation. She is a music teacher and a dedicated meditation practitioner. Based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, she also coordinates as an administrator for the firm’s operations in the region. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in literature and language and studied music while her association with the Church. She is passionate about integrating mindfulness and music to support emotional well-being.
